Good questions, honest answers

These are the questions candidates ask us most often – from booking your interview to your first day.

How do I book my interview – and can I reschedule or cancel it?

After every invitation to the next step, you'll receive a personal booking link. Simply pick a free slot that suits you – the calendar invite with all details arrives by email right after. There's no need to wait for an invite from us or to suggest times by email.

Something came up? No problem, it happens – just reply to the invitation and we'll find a solution together. Where possible, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

My booking link doesn’t work, or I haven’t received my invite or assessment link. What now?

First, check your spam folder and make sure you entered your email address correctly when booking. For security reasons, booking links are only valid for 7 days and work best in the browser in which you confirmed your email. If no slots are shown, our interviewers' calendars are fully booked at the moment.

The calendar invite with your Google Meet link arrives right after booking. The link to our online assessment (if it's part of the process) comes in a separate email from Bryq. If anything is missing or not working, just reply to our email – we'll resend everything or book the slot for you.

When will I hear back from you?

After you apply, we usually get back to you within 2 working days. After each interview, you'll hear from us within 5 working days. If it ever takes longer – for example because other conversations are still running or decision-makers are on holiday – we'll let you know proactively.

Haven't heard anything after 7 working days? Drop your contact in our Talent Acquisition team a short email.

Will I get feedback if my application isn’t successful?

Yes – we want you to take something away from the process. After a personal conversation, you can request feedback at any time. After a case study or final interview, we offer you a short feedback call; you'll find the link in our rejection email. If we decline right after reviewing your application, we unfortunately can't give individual feedback due to the high number of applications.

Please understand that we don't compare you with other candidates and that we don't revisit decisions, as they're made as a team based on clear criteria. If your profile has developed or a role is posted again, we're always happy to receive a new application.

How does the case study work – and can I use AI tools?

For many roles, you'll receive a case study or coding challenge that you work on and then present to the team. You'll get all materials and data by email. Using AI tools is allowed – please be transparent about where you used them. If something is unclear or data is missing, just ask – that's not a weakness, it's part of the task. You submit your solution by email to your recruiter.

Something came up during the case? Let us know as early as possible and suggest a new submission and presentation date.

Can I apply by email or send a speculative application?

Please always apply via our careers page. That way, your application goes straight to the right person and we can handle it fairly and in line with data protection rules – applications sent by email can't be considered. No suitable role open right now? Send us a Speculative Application via the careers page.

Can I work remotely, or do I need to be based in Munich?

Our headquarters is in Munich and most teams work hybrid, with 3 days a week in the office. Some roles require you to be on site, for others remote work within Germany is possible. What applies to your role is stated in the job ad under "Location". Questions about flexibility? Feel free to raise them in your first conversation.
